Tropical Marine Air Conditioning, Inc. is a South Florida a dealer for MarvairŪ. Tropical Marine Air Conditioning, Inc. sells all equipment and parts including accessories, grills, thermostats, ducting, adapters, pumps, pump relays, and all other MarvairŪ equipment.     MarvairŪ self contained and split system reverse cycle air conditioners are water cooled units designed for use with sea or fresh water. Reverse cycle means that they provide heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. The units are built with capacities of 5,000, 7,000; 10,000; 12,000 & 16,000, 18,000 & 24,000 BTUHs.     All MarvairŪ units are built to the requirements of UL standard 484, 7th Edition. MarvairŪ units use R-22 refrigerant or the non-ozone depleting refrigerants R-407C or R-410A. Both R-410-A and R-407C are environmentally friendly and accepted for use by the European Community. All MarvairŪ self contained and split system units meet all applicable ABYC, US Coast Guard, and CE directives. Self-Contained Unit Split System- Air Handler and Condensing Section

MARVAIR SELF-CONTAINED & SPLIT SYSTEM REVERSE CYCLE AIR CONDITIONERS

Both the self-contained and split system units have, as standard, the following features:

• Structural supports and the control box constructed of light weight, superior corrosion resistant aluminum primed and finished with a white, heat cured polyester. Stainless steel drain pan.
• Embossed base pan keeps critical components above condensate
• Mounting holes for the compressor are punched and tapped- no welds that can rust.
• Multiple condensate drain locations.
• A baked on, polyester enamel finish applied to the end plates & the fins of the evaporator coil. Over 1,000 hours when tested to ASTM B117.
• The bottom of the pan is insulated to prevent external condensation, minimize movement and reduce sound transmission.
• Washable filter. Optional high efficiency filters.
• Compact, single inlet centrifugal blower

• No motor overhang. Motor is within the footprint of the base.
• Extremely powerful yet quiet - Designed to move air through duct work.
• Insulated to further reduce sound levels.

• Optional white finish available on the compressor, the heat exchanger, the accumulator and the receiver in the condensing section of the split system.

For rapid installation

• The evaporator blower can be rotated 120° in the field for discharging the conditioned air in virtually any direction.
• The control box can be mounted on either side or remote from the unit.
• Multiwire control box harness allows for remote mounting of the control box up to six feet from the unit.
• Terminal strip for both the power & control wiring
• 5/8" stainless steel condensate line stubs on either end of the base pan
• Factory provided hold down clamps.

The MarvairŪ split systems feature:

• A durable, yet convenient quick lock electrical connection between the condensing section and the air handler.
• Threaded refrigerant connections on both the condensing section and the air handler eliminate the need for braising. The condenser section is shipped with a holding charge, and in many cases, no additional refrigerant is needed.
